Student Internship Panel Event
In this special CIS Seminar, four CIS students Armando Suarez, Tuan Ta, Arun Reddy Kancharla and Kyoshin Joel Choo will share their exciting internship experiences during this summer. They will also form a panel to answer questions from the audiences and discuss about their own understandings and suggestions on how to find internship opportunities, how to prepare for internship applications and interviews, etc.
Armando Suarez is an undergraduate student during his Junior year. During the summer he participated in two internships, one with Google and the other with a startup called 500 miles based on Palo Alto, California. Tuan Ta is an undergraduate student during his Senior year. He did his summer internship at National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Boulder, CO. Arun Reddy Kancharla is a Master student. Kyoshin Joel Choo is a Ph.D. student. He worked as an intern at Samsung and Google at Mountain View, CA for the past 2 summers where he supported developing and debugging GPU simulator for graphics.
