Cherry back up
Cherry, one of the department's research and instructional servers, has been down since Monday for upgrades. It is now back up and running.
Any users that had used cherry in the past 8 months had their accounts carried over. Users that had not used cherry in the last eight months should see the network administrator to have their account renewed. All data is still available.
Apache, PHP, and MySQL are all installed. Database users and databases that hadn't been used in a while were not restored. If you'd like your data restored please see the network administrator.
Tomcat was not re-installed because it had been receiving very little use lately. If you need Tomcat for a class or research project please see the network administrator.
