Abstract:
Numerous new toolsets and products are available to facilitate the transition to the use of service-oriented architectures (SOA) for enterprise applications. Examples are integrated development environments (IDEs) for the rapid deployment of web services and clients, tools to create proxies that act on Web Service Description Language (WSDL) models, and new application servers such as GlassFish from Sun. This presentation will give an overview of how SOA-based tools are being used in the Office of Information Technology (IT) software development environment.
